I just downloaded the album “Temptation Come My Way” by The Showdown, and it is an awesome album. iTunes described them as the guitar riffs of Iron Maiden and and the vocals like Metallica. I really like this album. It doesn’t stop rocking at all. I’d give it a 10 out of 10. If you like metal, you should check out The Showdown.

For those of you who don’t know me my name is Jonni. In case you are wondering why i’m called Jonni Jigolo it’s not as sordid as you may think…I’d love to tell some amazing story about being a gigolo by trade, but it is simply my stage name from my old band. Think Rikki Rockett, Nikki Sixx, Taime Down…Jonni Jigolo. It is that simple. For the record my bands included: Eminence (1996-1999), Diplomatic Immunity (1999-2006) and my new project which will be based in the UK are called Fatal Flaw and are a Melodic Hard Rock band not unlike Dokken/Bonfire/Danger Danger.
Still awake? Wanna hear about me? Well i’m 25 years old (born Feb 18th) and I was born in the naval town of Portsmouth, England. I’ve been living in sunny California since I was 17. I went to UCLA to study 20th century history, political science and computer engineering. Sounds boring I know, but…yeh ok, it’s boring! Anyway, i’m flying back to the UK to house hunt and arrange some other things with my new job. I am actually gonna be a defence analyst; again boring, but it keeps my folks happy! Better yet I can keep my hair! I do have long hair, and I will have to add some pictures of me too, but it will all come once I move to the UK.
I will do my best to add some thoughts when they come to me (don’t hold your breath!)…just kiddin’! Some of it will be serious, some will be wacky; but it will always be good therapy for me as I don’t get the opportunity to do this on my own blog as people just want music from me and not me firing off my pie-hole all the time! Not that I let that stop me sometimes…my party and all that. Autograph – Secular 80′s Hair Metal band…but they ROCK!
ApologetiX – Christian Parody Band.
Boston - Most of you have heard them. Now, Brad Delp was AWESOME singer and true that there will NEVER be another Brad…but Michael Sweet will rock the stage…guaranteed!
Broken Silence – 80′s Christian Metal band with a twist…they have a chick singer! She FLAT-OUT ROCKS! Normally I would think that metal was for guy singers…but SHE ROCKS! Doesn’t matter if you are a Christian…you NEED to hear them!
Desyre – I’m helping out this band…they ROCK! Check them out if you like G.L.A.M. metal!
There ya go. There’s a ton more…but I had to say really good things about these bands! I recommend you check them out…they all rock!
